A ten-year-old girl died after riding the Revolution roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia California.

She lost consciousness on the roller coaster and was airlifted to the hospital. When she was found she was still breathing but unconscious.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said the ten-year-old died from natural causes and not from an accident on the ride.

The ride opened in 1976 and was temporarily closed pending a review of the incident. The ride reopened Monday Night.

According to Six Flags Magic Mountain more than 45 million people have safely ridden the ride since it opened in 1976.
