Remember the case of the Florida mom Marissa Alexander that had everyone up in arms because she was said to have been convicted of aggravated assault although she was a battered woman who did nothing more than fire a warning shot to her "abusive" husband? Well, check this out:

Funny how some cases make national news, and people from across the country get emotionally involved while hearing only one side. In most cases, the victims can't tell their side because the person on trial has killed them. But this case is just sickening because it shows how women use a system that is seemingly skewed in their favor to get (or try to get) the outcomes they desire, whether just or unjust.
