15-Year-Old Boy Survives Self-Inflicted Gun Shot To The Head

Investigators in Lecanto, Florida are baffled and still searching for the reason a 15-year-old freshman pulled a gun and shot himself in the head in front of his classmates. The incident happened Tuesday morning.

Official put Lecanto High on full lockdown at about 10:30 a.m. Most of the students say they didn’t know that one of their fellow students had shot himself in the head.

Officials were able to talk to the shooter who survived his self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head before he was airlifted to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa.
