Two Tuscaloosa men are charged with burglary after authorities responded to a burglary in progress call on Browning Drive in the Remington Subdivision off Patriot Parkway in Hillcrest. The men ran from scene before authorities could arrive.

Their vehicle was abandoned at the scene. This vehicle was later discovered as stolen out of Tuscaloosa.

According to al.com, K-9 unit and criminal investigators set a perimeter around the area where 2 suspects were later caught.

A third subject managed to escape.

The two suspects in custody are Carlton Demond Bates, 17, charged with first-degree burglary and first-degree robbery. His bond at the Tuscaloosa County Jail is $120,000 total bond.
Lamarcus Antwan Green, 19, is charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree robbery and attempting to elude.
