2 Women Assaulted At Snow Hinton Park

There were two cases of sexual assault at Snow Hinton Park over the weekend. According to the tuscaloosa news,the first woman told officers that she was walking along the track at 7:30 p.m. when a young man grabbed her from behind, pointed a gun and demanded sex.

Then another woman told police that a man approached her near the flag poles at the park at 8:30 p.m, threatened her with a gun and told her to put her phone away before he forced her into the nearby bathroom and sexually assaulted her.

Both women said that the suspect left the park in a dark colored SUV. The suspect is desribed as a young, black man in his late teens or early 20s.

Now this is a relatively busy park, especially on weekends, so how could this happen and nobody saw anything? Now it's not even safe to try to exercise in public even when people are around.
