2014 Alabama A-Day Game Set for April 19
The University of Alabama announced that its annual A-Day game will be played on April 19 at 2 PM CT.
Marking the end of Spring practices, the A-Day game will be played inside Bryant-Denny Stadium and will be free to the public once again. This game has become the biggest of its kind since Nick Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa seven years ago. Alabama leads the nation in total attendance since 2007 with 594,851 fans, which averages out to nearly 85,000 fans per game.
The 2014 A-Day has the potential to be the most intriguing in a number of years do to all of the losses from last year’s team. A few of the questions include:
- Who will replace three-year starting quarterback AJ McCarron?
- Will someone step up and take over C.J. Mosley’s leadership role at linebacker?
- With the emergence of Derrick Henry, which running back will come out on top?
The full Spring practice schedule will be released in the near future, along with gameday activities, parking, and additional event information.
