22-Year-Old Accused Of Punching 5-Year-Old In The Face

A 22-year-old woman accused of punching a 5-year-old in the face repeatedly, dragging her across the floor and shoving down inside a Columbus, Ga.  Wal-Mart  Sunday, pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday afternoon.

Alicia Spearman, 22 is charged with one count of first degree cruelty to children.

According to al.com multiple witnesses inside the store saw the assault on the child inside the store.

Spearman who is not the child’s legal guardian indicated she has taken care of the child since she was 2 years old.

Her bond is set at $5,000.
