So yesterday a posted a story about a local fire department in Fayette County. The City of Stonewall in west Alabama has a fire station that has been without a new Fire truck for over 21 years. The truck barely is operational, they are barely operational, imagine when a real emergency happens and they can't save a life because of a lack of equipment, that would be pretty sad in this day and age of technology.

The area they cover is over 125 homes and Business along with a community center, they equipment is actually embarrassing compared to other municipalities around the state. They are the only African American rule Fire dept. all Volunteers, there are 18 fire departments in the county and most have new trucks and equipment.

If you care to make a donation you can in care of the Stonewall Volunteer Fire Department PO Box. 734 Fayette, Alabama. 35555 Attn: Robert Mallory.
