3-year-old boy killed in Birmingham

When I first read about this I was left without a word to say. Now that I have gathered myself, I must ask, why? Why is there so much black on black violence? And more importantly, why against innocent children?

According to AL.com a Birmingham man was arrested on capital murder charges after a 3-year-old was physically assaulted.

The child was pronounced dead when he arrived to Children's Hospital. A preliminary investigation gave police enough information to arrest Cornelius Warren on capital murder charges.

Another question I must ask is where was the mother of this child? Is the suspect her companion?

And what on earth could a 3-yr-old have done to be physically assaulted? There should be NO mercy for those that prey on helpless little children as if they were adults.

Now another young life has ended before it had a chance to begin.
