According to Social Security Records 6.5 million people in the U.S are 112 years old. Since as of last fall there were only 42 people in the entire known to be that old it’s safe to say most of the 6.5 million people aren’t alive.

13 of the 6.5 million 112-year-olds are still getting Social Security benefits.  But there is a big problem. Most of their Social Security numbers are still active, so their numbers could be used to report wages, open bank accounts, obtain credit cards or claim fraudulent tax funds.
