In gross and disturbing news, on Wednesday, city of Tuscaloosa officials said that 6,000 gallons of sewage spilled into Cribbs Mill Creek.

Residents are to refrain from using or entering the water in the Cribbs Mill Creek until further notice.

They are saying at this time there is no immediate danger, and I'm trying to rack my brain on how sewage spilling into a creek that may lead to bigger waters is not dangerous? But, I'm no scientist, only a radio personality - what do I know...

This is the SIXTH spill to happen in 2017 according to the city of Tuscaloosa.

Advocates for the preservation of clean waters are very upset, as they should be. They are asking the city to set clearer and stricter code regulations.
