Anyone who's ever had heavy interaction with Veterans can tell you that our service members don't always return the same way they entered the military. Some of them do have difficulty maintaining good mental health; and the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center has partnered with community organizations to make sure Veterans receive quality mental health services.

The 6th Annual Veterans Community Mental Health Summit will be held at the Hotel Capstone on Friday, August 10 from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Registration is required for this free event. The provided lunch buffet is free for Veterans and students with valid ID but comes at a cost of $10 per person for others.

Conference attendance also provides Continuing Education credits for some occupations. For more information, contact Warren Hudgins at (205) 554-4595 or Warren.Hudgins@va.gov.
