Today, Leadership Tuscaloosa will hold a free Volunteer Fair at the Bryant Conference Center from 10:30am-2:30pm for those that would like to contribute to our community but aren't exactly sure where they'd like to serve.

Tuesday night, the Alabama Senate gave final approval to a bill already passed in the House that legalizes home brewing.  The bill now goes to Governor Bentley.

The latest report from the foreclosure listing firm RealtyTrac says the numbers are dropping, and that's considered good news in the nation's foreclosure crisis.  Nationally, home repossessions fell 20 percent in April from the previous month.

In world news, Afghan President Hamid Karzai says he's ready to let the U.S. have nine bases in Afghanistan after the 2014 combat troop pullout but wants Washington's "security and economic guarantees" first.
