Alabama Contestant advances to Final Four of “The Voice”
Have you been watching The Voice this season on NBC? Well, if you have been, you know that one of the contestants is from Alabama!
His name is Kirk Jay, he's originally from Bay Minette, AL, in Baldwin County, he lives in Montgomery, AL. Now, Kirk is an Afro American country singer! He has a band in Montgomery called KIRK JAY & Kuntry Funk! He defines his band as "A country band from Montgomery, AL with a Lil soul and boogie woogie".
Last night, I tuned into NBC’s “The Voice” to see what would happen to Montgomery’s Kirk Jay, after the results from last night’s performances.
America decided, Jay was the first one again to move on! This time he's in the Final Four finale performances on Dec. 17.
He won a spot in the Final Four after singing "I Swear” by John Michael Montgomery to Montgomery native. Courtney Pruitt, she’s currently battling leukemia.
I'm sure all of Alabama will be watching this Monday, Good Luck Kirk!
