Alabama Football Picked to Win Conference and Division
The University of Alabama won last year’s SEC Championship in a thriller against the Georgia Bulldogs, and are expected to take the conference title once again in 2013.
Alabama collected nearly 75 percent of the votes from the media in attendance, 182 overall to finish in the top spot to claim the conference crown. The Crimson Tide were followed by Georgia(38),South Carolina(18), Texas A&M (4) and LSU (1)
Alabama was also selected to win the SEC Western Division with 225 first-place votes with Texas A&M picked second with 11 first-place votes followed by LSU (7),Mississippi,Auburn,Mississippi State and Arkansas.
Last season the Crimson Tide capped off a 13-1 season with its 3rd national championship in four seasons, capturing its 2nd conference championship under current head coach Nick Saban en route.
