Alabama sophomore running back Altee Tenpenny was arrested over Spring Break for possession of marijuana, which was discovered after a routine traffic stop.

According to the police report, a police officer pulled him over in his hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas, for an 'inoperable license plate light.' At that time, the officer noticed the odor of marijuana.

Here's how the incident was described in the police report:

I informed Mr. Tenpenny I could smell the odor of marijuana coming from his vehicle and asked him when the last time he had used marijuana was. Mr. Tenpenny told me he 'smoked a blunt' with his older brother about an hour prior.

The report continues to say that the officer found a bag of marijuana in the vehicle after Tenpenny told him there wasn't any.

In 2013, the running back carried the ball in six games, including a six carry, 24-yard performance in the opening game against Virginia Tech. For the year, he totaled 22 carries for 82 yards and one touchdown.
