Almost Christmas: Just the Right Amount of Funny

Almost Christmas was a great movie to start the holiday season. It was filled with an all aged cast. Some familiar faces from the comedy scene, such as, Monique, J.B Smoove,and upcoming comedian from Instagram, D.C. Young Fly.

The movie which is set in Birmingham, AL keeps it southern values of family and faith. The father of the family is a recent widow, and he's learning how to live without his wife. His children, which are made up of talented actors such as Gabrielle Union, Nicole Parker, Kimberly Elise, and Romany Malco.

Each child is going through some type of obstacle in their life which gets solved by the end of the movie. Such as debt, pill addiction, and dealing with a cheating man.

This movie is easy to relate to, and has enough funny to keep your eyes glued to the screen for over an hour and a half.
