Former Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper has already made an impression across the league during his first month as an Oakland Raider.

The 4th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft has participated in Oakland's rookie minicamp and team OTAs since the beginning of May, and many people have been raving about the abilities of Alabama's all-time receiving leader.

Raiders defensive back and future Hall of Famer Charles Woodson has gone against Cooper in practice and is already comparing him to one of the NFL greats.

"He just comes in and goes about his business," Woodson told SiriusXM. "I haven't heard him say too much or talk too much. He just comes in and works hard. He's been in on every play they've asked him to be in on. My early thoughts on it, I think he has that 'it' factor. He has the ability to be very special in this league.

"He reminds me of Marvin Harrison, and Marvin Harrison was the best receiver that I played against in the NFL."

Former NFL quarterback David Carr, who is the brother of Raiders QB Derek Carr, told 120 Sports this:

"If you are an Amari Cooper fan, go out and buy the jersey because I’m seeing some routes this kid’s running, and it’s unbelievable the separation he’s getting," Carr said. "I understand it’s OTAs and it’s early, but he is so crisp in and out of his cuts… you gotta see this guy on film. He’s an unbelievable player. I can’t wait until August."

Veteran wide receiver Nate Burleson told the NFL Network that Cooper gives his team the best value as a rookie.

"I've never seen a guy, in this day and age where rookies usually take two or three years to develop, come in with the composure that he has on and off the field."

Oakland head coach Jack Del Rio also has high hopes for his first-round pick.

''He's going to be a good player,'' Del Rio said. ''He's just coming in getting started like all the rest of them. He's a young man transitioning into the league. There's a lot of work to do. It's good to have him here and participating.''
