An Earthquake Hits West Alabama

Around 4:30 this morning I woke up when I thought I felt the bed shake.  I chalked it up to my imagination, turned over and continued to sleep.  Odds are I didn’t experience this alone.

A small earthquake shook West Alabama this morning around that time.

The quake hit about 11 miles northwest of Eutaw.  The epicenter was about halfway between Eutaw and Aliceville on State Route 14.
