Another Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Detention Officer Has Been Arrested

Another Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s office detention officer has been arrested following an investigation into contraband being brought into the jail.

Thursday morning Willis Wright was arrested and charged with promoting prison contraband third-degree, a misdemeanor. Wright was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $1,000 bond.

Tuscaloosa County Sheriff investigator did not release any details of the investigation. No other arrests are expected
