About a week ago, I told my Facebook friends and WTUG listeners that they could inbox or email me any question they wanted me to answer, and I would do so openly and honestly without identifying the person seeking who asked the question. The response was so overwhelming that I'm going to take it in a new direction.

Considering the fact that when you send an inboxed message or email (unless you've created an alias), you're not anonymous to me, I'm adding a link to http://www.wtug.com, where you can just enter your question truly anonymously.  But for now, here's this week's edition of "Ask Jade Nicole."

Q:  Do you and your siblings REALLY get along as well as you seem to?

A:  ABSOLUTELY!!!  Because all five of us were born within 7 years, we literally grew up together. Our ages don't vary greatly AT ALL. So, we played together as kids, got in trouble together as teens, covered for each other, and help each other a lot even now. We pray together, have gatherings for no special occasion, and even vacation together. However, that is not to say that we don't have disagreements.  We were always taught that "what happens in the family stays in the family." We adhere to that for the most part.

Q: Is that really how Ed Ramsey talks in real life?

A:  Hold on. (LLLLLLLLLLLMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)  I used to wonder the same thing, and to answer the question is yes.  Ed annunciates everything.... when in a professional environment.  However, when he is upset or in a more relaxed environment, his voice is just as heavy, but you will NOT hear every T.

Q: Are you really as happy as you seem all the time?

^^^That is the face I initially made.  Then, I thought more into it.  Actually, I am! Crazy how the things you learn as a child come back up in adulthood.  I remember being a very young girl at church in Chicago, and Sis. Sandra Hayes would standin testimony service and have the entire congregation sing a song that goes:

"The joy of the Lord is my strength/The joy of the Lord is my strength/The joy of the Lord is my strength/The joy of the Lord is my strength"

The tune was similar to this:

She'd have us all to stand with her for the next verses:

"If you want joy, leap for it/If you want joy, leap for it/If you want joy, leap for it/The joy of the Lord is my strength"

"If you want joy, hug someone/If you want joy, hug someone/If you want joy, hug someone/The joy of the Lord is my strength"

That song and others randomly pop up in my mind as well as other teachings such as "I shall have what I say," "It's up to you to command your day," and "Mercies are renewed morning by morning."  When I think on these things, they help me to have a great day almost daily.

Q: What are your hobbies, if you have time to do anything you like?

A: I've recently discovered a love for home repair and DIY projects.  I also enjoy painting, trimming my hedges, baking, and traveling. Before I had a child, I would have said highway racing.

Q: I've often noticed a hint of laughter in your voice. What is going on in the studio that we can't see?

A: Nine times out of ten, I'm laughing at something someone has said on Facebook, a video I've been watching, or the song I've played was by request but I think it's garbage.

I LOVE the questions you ask! Some force me to think on a more serious level while others amplify the silly side of me. Never the less, I always have a ball with "Ask Jade Nicole."  So, keep those questions coming via Facebook, email me at jade.nicole@townsquaremedia.com with the subject "Ask Jade Nicole," or fill out the form below.
