I was born in Chicago, IL but moved to rural Aliceville, AL before fate landed me in the City of Champions. I can be heard during the midday, sometimes speaking with eloquence and professionalism. But every now and then, I have to "bring it on home," and you'd swear you were talking to a cousin or good friend. I have no problem making fun of myself, giving compliments, or saying what most people are thinking. That's just me!

Each year, those searching for good deals stay up all night Thursday to head the line for Black Friday sales.  In recent years, numerous stores have started their "Black Friday" sales earlier.... as in not even on Friday but on Thanksgiving Day.... or before that!

The University of Alabama's Homecoming festivities will culminate tomorrow with the game at 3pm, but Tide fans and local residents have the opportunity to enjoy numerous activities beforehand, such as the bonfire and pep rally on the Quad at 7 this evening, the Homecoming parade on University Blvd at 10:30 tomorrow morning, and the Coca-Cola Kickoff Zone at the Walk of Champions, opening at 11:30.
