I was born and raised in Miami Beach Florida, where I started my radio career, My life has always been spent around music as my family owned a couple of records stores in the inner city of miami in the early 70's. My radio career began at WHQT Hot 105 as a promotions guy that drove the van up and down the beaches of Miami before moving north to Orlando with stops along the way in Jacksonville . I finally landed in Birmingham to help launch WBHJ '95.7 Jamz' in 1996. so central Alabama has become a second home. I'm still a serious Miami Hurricanes fan, and while I can be seen wearing the crimson colors of the Tide at times, I still love the Hurricanes, Miami Heat and Dolphins.
