Authorities Search for Missing Thomasville Man

Last Friday, I posted this picture on my Facebook page, stating how happy I was to see my friend, Derrick. This caused a bit of speculation for some and relief for those who know what's going on. Derrick's brother is missing.

According to Derrick, Hy'Shawn went missing late last month. Initially, people thought he might have taken an impromptu "getaway," as we all wish we could do from time to time. Friends went to his Facebook page to urge him to contact someone and end everyone's worry. So far, this hasn't happened.

In fact, Shawn's (as he's affectionately called) vehicle has been recovered, but there is no word on his whereabouts, although a person of interest was questioned by authorities.

Of course, I've been worried about my friend and praying for his family. He has been a bit "off the grid" lately, which is totally understandable. I wouldn't be my normal self if any of my siblings went missing either.  So, seeing Derrick in person just made my day. It would make HIS day to know what has happened to his brother.
