Made up of equal parts smash TV show and blockbuster boy band, Big Time Rush and their Big Time Summer Tour rolled into the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H. last night (Sept. 1) leaving nothing but streamers  and screaming tweens in their wake.

Before Big Time Rush took to the stage, a clock displayed on the various big screens around the arena ticking down the minutes that turned into seconds that turned into one big boy band extravaganza when the four members, Kendall Schmidt, Carlos Pena, Logan Henderson and James Maslow, appeared on the stage to a chorus of piercing squeals.

Kicking off their show on a riser that lifted the foursome high above the crowd they ripped into their first tune of the night, ‘Elevate,’ in style. Their multi-level ginormous stage set up allowed for each beloved band member to reach every corner of the large venue with BTR even venturing out into the crowd for a special part of the show.

With choreographed dance moves, suave personalities and upbeat anthems, Big Time Rush had the young crowd engaged throughout their 24-song high energy set. From bouncing off a tethered trampoline in the center of the stage to fireworks and crowd interaction – all the boy band bases were covered.

15-year-old Aussie pop star on the rise Cody Simpson opened the show, displaying his diversity from slick dance moves to playing the acoustic guitar.

Fans that arrived early enough were treated to a short 20 minute set from Leon Thomas III from Nickelodeon’s show ‘Victorious.’

Big Time Rush continue their tour through the end of September.
