We've got good news for your sweet tooth and bad news for your diet: Blue Bell Ice Cream will be returning to stores next week! It's been basically the worst summer ever without Blue Bell to help us chill. After a Listeria outbreak, Blue Bell's production sites in Sylacauga, Alabama and in Texas and Oklahoma closed. The facilities were inspected, cleaned, and sanitized, and they're finally up and running again.

Blue Bell Ice Cream will be available in select locations in 15 states. As they're only operating one production facility at this time, a limited range of products will be available. Blue Bell states on their website that products will be available in Birmingham and Montgomery, with the remainder of the state to be added once all production facilities have returned. You can view Blue Bell's plans HERE.

Blue Bell recently announced that the first product to hit store shelves will be its iconic Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream, along with Dutch Chocolate, The Great Divide (1/2 chocolate, 1/2 Homemade Vanilla), and Cookies and Creme--all of which will be available in 1/2 gallons.
