According to al.com the Blue Bell Creameries plant in Sylacauga will stop production Monday as the company begins training and cleaning program.  This comes in the wake of a listeria outbreak linked to its products.

Blue Bell official said earlier in the week the Sylacauga plant was still producing ice cream products to be used for testing and gathering baseline data. According to al.com none of those products will be sold or shipped.

Blue Bell has recalled about 8 million gallons of ice cream products which should be off the shelves of stores in about two weeks.
