CBS Sports announced Thursday that its premier football property will expand in 2015 and carry an SEC game on the first two weekends of the upcoming season.

SEC on CBS, which has been the highest-rated college football broadcast on any network for six straight years, has added two additional games to its lineup. The television schedule will begin with Louisville vs Auburn in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game on September 5 at 2:30 PM/CT. The network will also carry Georgia at Vanderbilt on September 15 in the same time slot.

The traditional 'SEC Game of the Week' will begin on its usual third weekend of the season with Auburn at LSU on September 19. CBS has traditionally bumped college football to broadcast the US Open tennis tournament from New York, but ESPN won the television rights to the event beginning in 2015.

The SEC on CBS crew will remain the same for the schedule, which means more Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson for football fans.
