Bryant Museum Releases Trailer for Bear Bryant Documentary ‘Mama Called’

September 11, 2013, marks 100 years since the birth of the great Paul ‘Bear’ Bryant and the Bryant Museum has much in store this week to honor the day. Anyone that wants to visit the museum can do so for free on Wednesday to take in all of the history of Alabama football, including a new Bryant exhibit.

A list of activities and events surrounding the centennial can be found on a site specifically built for this week – Bryant100.com. ¬†Among the events is the debut of the Bear Bryant documentary, ‘Mama Called.’ Here’s how the film is described:

Mama Called is a documentary that provides an in-depth look at the legendary Coach Paul W. Bryant through those who knew him best. Interviews from his family, friends, and former players including Gene Stallings, Bobby Bowden, Bob Baumhower, Nick Saban, Jerry Duncan, Kenny Stabler, and many more give an inside look at the life of Bryant from his early childhood in rural Arkansas, to his playing days at The University of Alabama, through his legendary career as a collegiate coach. Follow the inspiring story of his life and the lasting impact of his legacy.
