Deontay Wilder Updates Us On His Busy Life Since Winning the WBC Title

This morning, the World Boxing Council's Heavyweight Champion of the World Deontay Wilder came to visit the WTUG studio.

Since meeting Deontay in 2008, we've had numerous opportunities to talk, both professionally and just kidding around.  So, while this was my first time interviewing him since he claimed the title, it was almost like a reunion with a friend I hadn't seen in a while.  Somehow, Deontay makes everyone around him feel like they know him personally.  He even stated in our interview that it's hard for women not to fall in love with him. LOL

I asked him what was next for him, and he expressed a deep desire to do something in the local community and to bring more attention to Tuscaloosa.  Whatever that entails, he already knows that he will have continued support from the Tuscaloosa community.
