Despite the ridiculously long television deal the SEC struck with ESPN earlier this month, CBS Sports continues to have the first pick of college football games each week. The network announced its preliminary selections for 'Game of the Week' in 2013.

Alabama traveling to Texas A&M in September will kickoff the season for CBS. The September 14 game in College Station will be a rematch of the Crimson Tide's only loss during a national championship 2013 season. That game, as it has always been, will begin at 2:30 p.m. CT.

The SEC on CBS schedule features a total of 16 games during the network’s 13-week season, which means it will have two doubleheader Saturdays along with the SEC Championship on Saturday, December 7 (3:00 p.m. CT).

All other game selections will be made at least six days prior to their broadcast date.
