Nothing beats a bowl of homemade chili on a chilly evening.You might think that it will take a while to get that slow cooked flavor.I can safely say it does not.Start with ground meat(I prefer beef but yoiu can use what you like),brown the meat off in a skillet season with salt, pepper, and chili powder(about 5-7mins) then add in 1 can of diced tomatoes(with green chiles for a little kick) and 1 can of beans(kidney,pinto,black bean... your choice) bring to a simmer add 1 tablespoon of ground cumin(secret ingredient) stir, cover and simmer 15-20 mins. And there you have it,Homemade Chili on chilly night....Bon Appetite...
