Turns out the woman who accused Chris Brown of pulling a gun on her is wanted in NYC for questioning in connection with criminal theft, reports TMZ.

Yesterday (Aug. 30), the woman, Baylee Curran, called 911 claiming that Chris Brown had pulled a gun on her for looking at a piece of his jewelry. Brown says he was sleep the entire time. Curran's claim prompted police to swarm the singer's house, and they remained outside until they were able to produce a proper warrant, before they ultimately arrested him for assault with a weapon,

Curran being wanted for questioning in New York is obviously big news. Curran, claimed she was looking at a piece of jewelry, which ultimately ended up being the catalyst for yesterday's dramatic events. Curran was vacationing with friends back in 2013 when they began arguing at the hotel. TMZ reports that according to police documents, "Baylee snatched a $1,000 Louis Vuitton purse from one of the girls and ran out of the hotel."

Security chased Curran, who dropped the purse but the kept the contents, including $200 cash and a Michael Kors wallet. The purse-snatching victim later placed a restraining order of Curran, and NYPD have issued an I-Card, which is sort of like a warrant. Basically, if she returns to New York and they see her, they have legal grounds to bring her in for questioning. Curran's rep told TMZ she had no idea she was wanted for questioning and claims she was the victim, not her friend.

In any case, looks like things just took an interesting turn. Late last night (Aug. 30), Brown posted $250,000 bail and was released.
