The Tuscaloosa County Preservation society will be hosting a Christmas tour featuring six of Tuscaloosa's most notable historic homes.

The Christmas Tour of Homes will be this Sunday, December 6th from 2:00 until 4:00 pm and visits will include the Battle-Friedman House, Old Tavern, The Capitol School, and The Murphy African-American Museum. Each will be decorated for the holiday season and open for tours. The Jemison-Van de Graaff Mansion and the Bama B&B Campus in Sherwood Historic District will be featured as well.

Your family can begin the tour at the house of your choice and festive, holiday entertainment and refreshments will be offered at each stop on the tour.

The T-Town Strummers will be performing alongside pianist John Boutwell at the Battle-Friedman House and Father Christmas is excited about being able to greet children at the Old Tavern. Students will be performing piano and violin pieces at the Capitol School stop.

The cost of the tour is $5 per adult and children 12 and under are free.
