Ciara fans will have to wait a little longer to see their R&B songstress hit the stage. The Jackie singer announced that she is postponing her spring North American tour to work on new music.

"Unfortunately, my upcoming tour is moving again.." she posted on Facebook. "Why?...I'm currently in the process of making the best album of my career! I want to give all of you an incredible show… A show that you deserve!"

Her last album, Jackie, released in 2015 and featured Missy Elliott and Pitbull.

Ticketmaster has officially cancelled the events on its site and has promised to provide refunds for ticket holders.

You can find Ciara's full message below and the cancelled tour dates.
