Civic Hall of Fame Ceremony Today

Today is the day for the Tuscaloosa County Civic Hall of Fame induction ceremony!

The West Alabama Chamber of Commerce will host the ceremony at 3:00 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa County Civic Hall of Fame in Government Plaza Park. While the weather is beautiful, in case of inclement weather, the ceremony will move to First Baptist Church at 721 Greensboro Avenue.

The 2015 Class of Inductees includes civil rights leader who helped found a library in West Tuscaloosa Ruth Eaton Cummings Bolden, civic and business leader who founded Bubby's Food Mart E.C. "Buddy" Powell, Jr., banker and civic leader John Singleton Pradat, Sr. and chancellor of the University of Alabama System Robert E. Whitt.
