College Hill Prepares to Build

College Hill Baptist Church was completely destroyed by the April 27, 2011 tornado. The church has been displaced ever since, but is now preparing to rebuild.The groundbreaking for the all new College Hill Baptist Church will be held Monday, April 25, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. The new worship center will be located at the church's former site at 6th Street and 23rd Avenue East.

A church representative says they've been "roaming in the wilderness" for nearly five years. So, they highly anticipate going home to a permanent location. Currently, the church holds services at the Belk Activity Center in Bower's Park.
