Conference On Faith And The Community Sunday July 26, 2015

The Achieving Excellence Through Communal Empowerment and Creative Collaborations: A Conference on Faith and the Community will focus on efforts by the faith community to improve the quality of life for individuals and communities through creative partnerships.

The conference will begin on Sunday, July 26th at 6pm with an Ecumenical Worship Service at the historic Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church on the campus of Stillman College. Conference sessions will begin at 8:30 am on Monday, July 27 at the Bryant Conference Center of the campus of The University of Alabama and will conclude on Tuesday, July 28th at 1:30 pm

The conference has been organized by the Rev. Tyshawn Gardner of the Plum Grove Baptist Church and Dr. Joseph Scrivner of the Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church in collaboration with several faith based partners and the University of Alabama Council on Community-Based Partnerships.
