An aspiring rapper from Connecticut is in big trouble with police after drugs and a gun were found in his home.

According to local reports, 31-year-old Victor Martinez, who goes by the rap alias Sose Da Great, was arrested Tuesday (Feb. 17) and charged with operating a drug factory, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school, criminal possession of a firearm and other weapons charges and risk of injury to a minor.

Police found 300 bags of heroin and crack in his home, as well as three quarters of a pound of uncut heroin. Martinez allegedly hid some of the drugs right next to his daughter's bed in a baby wipes box.

Martinez is facing some major time if convicted, which would be a shame because he does possess some rap skills.

The Bridgeport, Conn. rhymer's "86 Dat" video is an East Coast-flavored track that shows some of his potential. "Swerving through my city, eyes cherry red / Pull up to my backyard where I bury bread / These n----- want to kill me but I'm barely dead, without out gun n---- sweeter than some cherry heads / Confidence, I got a lot of that / Feds be on my head like a stocking-cap," he raps.

Martinez has also been accused of having local gang ties, and he's previously been convicted on narcotics charges. This current arrest was so big, however, that it drew the attention of the city's mayor.

"Today, the city is a safer place after police took an illegal gun and a criminal, who hid narcotics by his daughter's bed, off the streets," said Mayor Bill Finch.

He is currently being held on $250,000 bond.
