In his usual gospel fashion, Curtis Finch Jr., blesses the 'American Idol' stage with his vocals.

The singer with "hope," as Keith Urban referred to him as, performed R. Kelly's 'I Believe I Can Fly,' placing all of his heart and emotion into his set.

Vincent Powell and Curtis are the only male contestants that have a shot at the win, and this is why. Some people already want a gospel album from the latter. "People need that right now," Nicki Minaj told him. "People are out here hurt. We need that kind of album. This is what we need from you."

Knowing who you are as a singer and what you do best is a key to surviving on 'Idol' and Curtis knows that. He's staying in his lane because no one in the competition can do what he does.
