D.U.I. Driver Hits Parked State Trooper

This a case of Another Dumb A$$ Criminal. A man was charged with D.U.I. after crashing into a parked state trooper vehicle with its lights flashing on I-20/59 according to al.com.

The trooper was treated and released from the hospital after the accident. My thing is how are you going to be driving under the influence and run into of all things a  state trooper?

You must want to go to jail if you drive under the influence especially when you hit a parked state trooper vehicle.

Secretary of Law Enforcement Spencer Collier said in a prepared statement.

"Our state troopers diligently patrol all roadways in Alabama – state, federal and county. We encourage citizens to be alert and move over for state troopers or other emergency personnel while they work to serve and protect."
