I'm no numerology expert, but 2016 needs to be put down as numbers that don't work well together. This year has been tough in all ways possible. We're so close to the New Year, and people we watched on tv,heard on the radio, and loved are dying in crazy numbers.

In the last two weeks, seven celebrities have died. That's not including Tuscaloosa's own, Brother A, of WTSK. He was a radio legend. A man who had love for everyone. When I began working here he greeted me like he'd known me for years.

Terrorist attacks, a shaky election season, scandals, and so much more has happened this year that makes me feel like 2016 needs to be put to bed ASAP.

Yes, there were some good moments this year, but the bad really seems to outweigh everything else.  The crazy thing about the deaths, it seems like the people we least expected to die, died. And yes, I know everyone dies, but 2016 showed no care.

One things for certain, and two things for sure - on New Year's I'm going to celebrate the fact that I survived 2016.
