Death Sentence For Facebook Posts?

With all that is going wrong here in America...(hint #45) I am still glad to be an American. Sure #45 trolls and airs his dirty laundry on social media, but it not as bad as the man who was sentenced to death over a Facebook post. A court in Pakistan found the man guilty of blasphemy after he is said to have insulted the prophet Muhammad on social media.

He was arrested last year after his Facebook post sparked a debate with an undercover anti-terrorism agent according to the Guardian.

This is the first time worldwide that a man has been given the death sentence for blasphemy on social media. according to the Guardian

This sentencing is part of the country’s “crackdown ... where unfounded allegations of blasphemy can lead to mob vigilante justice.
