Celebrate Veterans Day 2015 in Tuscaloosa with a special program recognizing the proud men and women from around West Alabama who have chosen to serve and protect our nation!

The hour long ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. sharp on Wednesday morning November the 11th at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Memorial Park, located in front of University Mall.

A part of the porgram will honor Col. Charles W. Davis, a Gordo native and University of Alabama alumnus who earned the Medal of Honor for his actions during World War II.

Also scheduled, a Presentation of Colors by the Holt High School JROTC Color Guard, Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem, Armed Forces Medley and Gun Volley Salute and Taps by the Tuscaloosa County American Legion Honor Guard.

After the Veterans Day program, take a look around at the military exhibits and visit the “Honor Roll of Veterans.”

Admission is free and open to the public.

This event is being presented by Veterans Memorial Park Association and PARA.
