Mother's Day is just two short weeks away, and Diddy is celebrating his mom in a big way.

Diddy is known for his extravagant events and celebrations, so there's no reason why Mother's Day would be different. VH1 reports that the hip-hop mogul will honor his mother, Janice Combs during the network's annual Dear Mama: A Love Letter to Moms program.

Mama Combs has always worked several jobs to provide for Diddy growing up. The 48-year-old has always credited his mom as the person he learned his hustle from.

During a 2016 interview with CBS News, Diddy gave his mom all the praise for making him step it up as a man; “I was brought up by my mother and my grandmother. My father was killed when I was 3. And one day, I had, you know, asked my mother for a pair of sneakers. And the look on her face that she couldn’t afford it – it just made me realize that I needed to step up as a man,” he said.

Diddy joins s Gabrielle Union and Colin Kaepernick as special guests at the VH1 event that airs on May 7 at 9 pm ET/PT. Lala Anthony and Anthony Anderson are slated to be the show's hosts.
