If you have seen the N.W.A biopic, Straight Outta Compton, you would know that Dr. Dre left Death Row Records over creative differences with Suge Knight. But now the veteran producer is accused of orchestrating the 2014 shooting of the now incarcerated rap mogul.

According to New York Daily News, Knight filed legal documents claiming that Dr. Dre worked with the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department to have him killed at the 10AK nightclub in Los Angeles in August 2014.

Just to refresh your memory, Knight was shot multiple times - once in the stomach, arm and other places - by an unknown gunman inside the club. Miraculously, Knight walked outside of the venue on his own and was transported to a local hospital. He eventually recovered from the shooting.

Knight's attorney, Thaddeus Culpepper, claims that the L.A. County Sheriff was working at the club and allowed the alleged shooter inside to carry out the deed.

Culpepper claims that Knight has proof but he's being held without phone, mail or visitor privileges, which prohibits him from “connecting” his pending 2015 murder case to the 2014 nightclub shooting that nearly killed him.

Reps for Dr. Dre reportedly has told TMZ that Knight's allegations are "ridiculous."

The 50-year-old Knight is currently in jail on attempted murder and murder charges stemming from a 2015 hit-and-run incident in Los Angeles.
