Summer is here folks, but hasn't it felt like its been with us for a month already. They Call these the " Dog Days Of Summer" . Here in Tuscaloosa it don't get no hotter. Just Last week we were under a Heat advisory.

The Dog Days of Summer, just what does that mean, I always thought were those days so devastatingly hot that even dogs would lie around in the street panting. Many people use the phrase to mean something like that. But in reality the phrase has nothing to do with dogs, or even the lazy days of summer.

It's super hot outside and that's all that matter, and it's probably going to get hotter and the Nights wont get any easier, muggy nights just makes it like you are standing under a heater. So How do you stay hydrated with plenty of fluids? Here's three quick easy steps.

1. Of course drink plenty of Water, experts say drink 8 glasses a day of 8 ounces.

2. Drink Coconut water, I know this for fact, playing football in Miami Coaches made us drink plenty of Coconut water, it replaces electrolytes in your body.

3. Drink Juices, if you are like me and hate water, juices work, but drink the 100% juices not the junky from Concentrate stuff.

Whatever you decide, drink tons of it and stay hydrated.
