Alabama Law Enforcement Agency will reopen driver’s license offices in 30 counties that it closed a month ago, beginning next.

Most of the offices will only be have a license examiner one day a month. There will be two offices will be staffed at least two days a month.

As you know the decision to close the offices drew the attention and criticism from such notables as Jesse Jackson, U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell D-Birmingham and Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.

Alabama drivers can renew their licenses online and in probate offices in every county.
