Easter Time Brings New Beginnings

This time of year is a special time. Celebrating the resurrection of our savior, that bunny that lays eggs, all the new Easter clothes and the 'Big' Easter dinner with the family. I was blessed to be able to spend time with family from Chicago that I haven't seen in over 6 years.

It was a great time because we all got together as a family without it being for a funeral as happens most often.

My 'little' cousin is now 19yrs old, and the last time I saw her it was all about a 12yr old who wanted to grow up.

Now she has grown up and looks so mature and acts not like the 12yr old I last remember but as a young black woman.

Her little sister who last time I looked was only newborn is now 6yrs old and talking and being nosy, and wanting to hurry up and grow up just like her sister did so many years ago.

It is true as the old saying goes,'time sure flies'.

This Easter will be one remembered for a long time to come.
