Go Behind the Scenes of Goodie Mob’s ‘Special Education’ Video With Janelle Monae [Video Premiere]

Goodie Mob's long awaited album, 'Age Against the Machine' arrives Aug. 27, and the rap quartet is hard at work promoting the release. They've recently made appearances on 'Jimmy Fallon' and MTV's 'RapFix Live.'

After dropping the chopped and screwed visual for 'I'm Set' earlier this month, Goodie Mob are now working on the video for 'Special Education' featuring Janelle Monae.

TheDrop.fm, The Boombox and PopCrush give an exclusive behind-the-scenes look of the clip. The effort, directed by John Colombo, will apparently take place in a school setting while child versions of Monae and Big Gipp are set to make an appearance. Of course, 'The Electric Lady' creator herself shows up too.

“I’m so honored to be a part,” Monae says in a dressing room. “I live in Atlanta, Ga., and I grew up on OutKast, I grew up on Goodie Mob, I grew up on the Dungeon Family. So the fact that they’re coming back with music and they’re jamming, and then I get to be a part of it? It’s such an honor.”

The full visual for 'Special Education' will premiere Aug. 15.
